Why ride bikes?

Police cycling offers numerous benefits, including increased community interaction, improved officer fitness, and greater accessibility in various environments. Bikes allow officers to cover more ground than on foot, while also being more approachable and less intimidating than vehicles.

If you're thinking of hitting the cycle and wish to know the great health benefits...

Cycling offers numerous health benefits, encompassing both physical and mental well-being. It's a great cardiovascular workout, improving heart health and reducing the risk of diseases like heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Cycling also strengthens muscles, enhances balance and coordination, and aids in weight management. Furthermore, it can boost mood, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve overall mental health.

Vehicle Safety Reminder

We’ve noticed a slight increase in thefts from motor vehicles. Please remember not to leave your cars or vans insecure, and avoid leaving valuables on display. For more information on keeping your vehicle safe, visit the West Midlands Police Vehicle Crime Prevention page

Kind Regards,
